What we collect

When you ask for an estimate, nothing is stored. The calculator runs against our rate card and the figure is thrown away.

When you book a delivery or open an account, we keep:

• Your name, phone number and, if you give one, an email address.
• The delivery address you type, and the point you drop on the map. The map point is stored as a distance in kilometres, because that is what the delivery charge is worked out from.
• The order itself: product, grade, quantity, the rate quoted, the delivery charge, what you paid in advance and what is outstanding.
• A four-digit delivery code, so the person handing over the load knows they have the right customer.

If you pay an advance by bKash, Nagad or Rocket, you send it from your own wallet to ours. We never see or store your wallet PIN, and we do not take card details anywhere on this site.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for a national ID, a date of birth, a trade licence number or a bank account.

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not sell, rent or trade yours.

Why we keep it

To quote the delivery charge, which depends on how far the pickup has to go.

To call you and confirm the rate before anything is charged.

To let you see your own orders and their progress when you sign in.

To send the order confirmation and the delivery updates you asked for.

To keep an accounting record of what was sold and what was paid, which we are required to be able to produce.

Messages we send

Email: an order confirmation, a welcome message when you register, and password resets. These are transactional — you cannot be signed up to a newsletter here because there is no newsletter.

SMS: if the shop has text messages switched on, you may get one when an order is booked, when it is collected, when it leaves and when it arrives. They go through a Bangladeshi SMS gateway, which sees your number and the message.

Tell us and we will stop sending either.

Cookies and measurement

A session cookie keeps you signed in. It is necessary; without it the site cannot tell one visitor from another, and clearing it signs you out.

Your language choice is remembered so the site opens in Bangla or English as you left it.

If the shop has switched on advertising measurement, pages may also load tags from Google, Meta or TikTok, which set their own cookies and can see the page you are on. This is off unless the shop has entered an account ID, and you can check what is loading with any browser's network inspector.

We record which advertisement or search brought a visitor to us, so we know which advertising is worth paying for. That is the campaign name the advertiser chose and the click identifier the ad platform put in its own link — not anything about you.

Who else sees it

• The person driving your delivery sees your name, phone number, address and delivery code. They have to.
• Our email provider and, where texts are switched on, the SMS gateway, carry the messages we send you.
• The mobile money service you pay through sees that payment, as it would any other.
• Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap, which means it sees the request for the tiles around your area. The point you drop is not sent to them.

Nobody else. We do not share order data with other traders, and we do not publish customer names.

How long it is kept

Order records are kept while the account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need to answer a question about a past delivery or a tax enquiry.

Ask us to close your account and we will remove your contact details and address. The order record stays, without them, because it is also our accounting record.

Your say over it

You can see and correct your name, phone, email and address yourself under Profile once you are signed in.

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete what we are not required to keep. We will not charge you for asking, and we will answer within a few working days.

Children

This is a wholesale site with a minimum order of several hundred pieces. It is not meant for, and is not directed at, anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will change the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with information already collected, we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing the page.
